The tradition of excellence started by C.T. "Trip" Hardesty III is carried on today by his son, C.T. Hardesty IV. Growing up with the business, C.T. spent countless hours in the shop, learning the ropes and accompanying his dad on wrecker calls. By the time he was old enough to drive the wrecker himself, he was already a seasoned hand in the shop. For over 30 years, C.T. has managed Trip's Auto Sales, working side by side with his father until Trip's passing in 2020. He continues to uphold his dad's legacy of exceptional personal service, deeply rooted in the family's long-standing commitment to the community.
Our family’s history in Clarke County runs deep. C.T. Hardesty, Sr. was a member of the board of the Bank of Clarke County over a century ago, establishing a legacy of trust and community service that we strive to honor every day. His son, C.T. Hardesty Jr., was a dedicated farmer who built his first house in Clarke County in 1922, further embedding our roots in the local community.
